Rebecca’s background in media and communications, coupled with her deep understanding of policy-making, has been instrumental in raising awareness and rallying public support for key causes. Her efforts were instrumental in banning microbeads in cosmetics, protecting ancient woodlands, and safeguarding over 103,000 kilometres of hedgerows. She also championed the restoration of the Wellington Monument in her constituency, galvanising local support and securing substantial funding for its preservation. And her work to see a new rail station in the town of Wellington has come to fruition.
